Daytona Automotive Equipment Inc. Limited Defective Equipment “5 2 1 Limited Warranty” Policy The Warranty details for DAYTONA Equipment are as follows:

  • Daytona 5 2 1 Limited Warrantywill go into effect from the date of the purchase invoice. The warranty covers 5 years on the structural components of the equipment, 2 years on the power units, cylinders, and seal kits, and 1 year on covering all other defective parts, minus exclusions.
  • If a Warranty problem occurs, the customer or Distributor must give Daytona a copy of the purchase invoice to enable the processing of the Warranty claim. Photos or videos may be requested by Daytona’s Warranty Department.
  • For Distributors ordering stock, the Distributor has 1 year from the date on the invoice between Daytona and the Distributor to sell all items on the invoice. For all items sold within this year, this 5 2 1 Limited Warrantywill be extended to the end user effect from the date of the purchase invoice between the Distributor and the end user. This warranty is non transferable. If a warranty claim is made, the end user should contact their Distributor. The Distributor can then contact Daytona. Daytona will ask the Distributor for a copy of the invoice to the end user and also a serial number. Once the Daytona warranty department has these documents, the warranty process can begin.
  • Warranty is recognized to include “parts” which prove upon inspection by Daytona to be defective in material and /or workmanship.
  • Daytona Automotive shall replace parts that upon inspection prove to be defective. Daytona will pay for all freight and freight related charges for shipping replacement warranty parts to the customer within Canada and the Continental US for as long as the part is covered under the 5 2 1 Limited Warranty
  • The warranty will become invalid if the equipment is improperly installed, improperly operated, improperly used, abused, if the equipment continues to be used while under warranty investigation, or not maintained in accordance with Daytona Automotive specifications set forth in the said equipment’s manual.
  • All Daytona equipment must be installed and used indoors as the equipment is not intended to be used outdoors for any length of time
  • Warranty does not cover parts, service call fees or labour needed for normal maintenance (adjusting cables, lubrication etc.)
  • Warranty does not include wearing and/or abused parts including but not limited to, cables, hoses, slider blocks, chains, and rubber pads.
  • Warranty does not cover damages due to poor maintenance including lack of annual safety inspections/service if applicable.
  • Warranty does not include on-site labour fees, or service call fees.
  • Failure to follow installation and operation instructions, neglect, or abuse will void warranty on the entire product.
  • Warranty does not cover damage caused flood, fire, corrosion, “acts of God” of any kind, damage caused by improper lifting or overloading, any equipment that has been modified or altered from the original design, or improperly repaired, or equipment installed outdoors.
  • Warranty does not cover cosmetic defects or blemishes that do not interfere with the functionality of the equipment, including scratches in the paint.
  • Daytona will accept the return of unused, unmodified and unopened equipment within 10 days of the date on the invoice for a refund minus a 30%restocking fee, excluding any and all shipping costs, duty and taxes. This is for situations where the customer has changed their mind, ordered the wrong equipment, or the equipment is no longer needed. This does NOT include Special Order items. All Special Order items are final sale. A Special Order item is defined as any item that is not part of Daytona’s regular stock or equipment line.
  • Validity of all Warranty claims will be at the sole discretion of Daytona Automotive Equipment Inc.
  • Customer Note: The above policy is warranted to the original owner only and is not transferable. The warranty applies to Daytona products only.
  • Disclaimer: Daytona Automotive Equipment Inc. will not be responsible for any personal injury and/or punitive damages as a result of improper maintenance, use, application, negligence, and/or poor training or supervision. All equipment should be inspected upon delivery for any damages, breakages, loosening of bolts, nuts, components and any moving parts, and inspected for safe use prior to each use.
